There is so much that has enriched my life, in spite of the Liberian civil crisis.
As a child, I should have been watching television; I should have been in school learning biology to understand how cells developed and how they die, sociology to know how social factors alter our behaviors or psychology to understand how war affected perceptions but the war taught me the opposite of what I wanted to learn. I am passionate about issues which deal with youth empowerment. Many young people today lack empowerment and without it societies will not be able to grow to its fullest potential. I became aware of this issue while counseling young people. I loved listening to what they had to say and I also enjoyed giving them my point of view, at the same time letting them know it was just my opinion.
